| Webdings display issue | Post #1 |
hey there,
Right I'm having a weird problem across different platforms, I'm not sure why it happens and why my fix hasn't worked, but here it is:
I have a flash header for a site I'm doing with a built-in mp3 player. The mp3 functions are all well and working, but there's a weird display problem with the controls...
I work on a mac and I've used the webdings font to create the controls (play/pause, previous, next), and that works well when I'm testing or viewing the header on a mac. However, when I test or view the header on windows (I use Virtual PC to run windows on my mac), the controls change back to a standard font (Times I presume) and characters appear instead of the symbols ("9" for previous, "4"/";" for play/pause, and ":" for next).
I have since tried to fix the problem by converting each webding to a graphic, but for some reason that's not worked...
You can see the header at uk.geocities.com/durfordeath
Any help? Ideas?
Cheers!
